Cyber MLM – Combine the Power of Network Marketing with the Amazing Force of the Internet

Its no secret, the Internet is here to stay. It’s outlasted the nay-sayers, the pessimists and the just plain old fashioned folks who are tied to the belief that technology will never take off. (Yes, believe it or not, there are still some who believe this is true.) They are also the folks who are continually asking the super-successful network marketers “Are you still doing that little home business thing that you do?”
Even though MLM can still be done belly-to-belly and you can still hold hotel meetings or invite five friends, who get five friends, who get…. need I say more? Network marketing is now so much more with the advent of the Internet.
The best thing about the Internet is that even though it’s been around for over 20 years, it’s still in the basement looking for a hole to break through to get to the ground floor opportunity that it will be very soon.No matter what it is you’re marketing, whether it be a service, an actual product, an information product or just your opinion, using the Internet makes the world your playground.
The opportunity to connect with people is limited only by your imagination. When you combine the incredible growth of the Internet with the power of network marketing, you come up with Inter-Network Marketing, a force that will grow in strength over the next ten years to become tsunami strong!
The problems I encountered when I first began my quest into Inter-Network Marketing were enormous. I felt like I was in quicksand and the rate at which I was getting sucked in was more than I could take.Do you know what confused people do? Nothing! That’s right, they quit! I hit that wall several times during the last five years, and if I could get back all the money that I’ve spent trying to learn how to market my MLM business on the Internet, well, let’s just say it would be nice.
Problem is that most of what I spent my money on didn’t teach me what I needed to know until I started putting the pieces together. Taking this from this piece and that from that piece. Nothing that I had gave me a track to run on. I was looking for someone to show me exactly what to do, step-by-step, and I just wasn’t finding it. So I began to experiment.
Then came the countless late nights of complete and total meltdowns where I wanted to take my computer and toss it into another dimension. (I can see you shaking your head over there) I can, in a way, relate my experience to raising my three kids. When they were small (somewhere around 1, 3 and 5), I felt like my life would never be “normal” again. I sometimes felt like the rest of my life would be centered around wiping up things that were already eaten once, changing diapers and filling up my caffeine tank due to lack of sleep.
Or, it can be compared to learning to drive a stick shift. You think you will NEVER get it. And then, suddenly, 500 stalls later, you begin to shift without jolting or stalling out your car. What a great feeling.
But, as we all know, we really do get to a point where those days are only a distant memory and the same is true here. It’s all a learning curve. Sooner or later, if you stick with it, the fog will begin to left and you will understand the way it works.
Learning to market your MLM on the Internet is no different than learning any skill. With any profession you choose, there is a learning curve. There is that gray area where you really don’t know what the heck you’re doing, but you do begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Then one day you feel like Bart Simpson when he sees that perfect car on the lot and the sun comes up and the bells and whistles go off. You’ve got it! Finally you can consider yourself and Internetwork Marketer! Oh happy day!
As you begin your journey, I can promise you a couple of things. First, this will not be easy. This may be the hardest thing you will ever do. You will get frustrated, annoyed and more than once, you will want to quit. I’m going to tell you right now, DON’T! Keep plugging away and Don’t Ever Quit!
The next promise I can make to you is that this will be the most worth it thing you have ever done for you and your family. My deciding moment, when I really decided to commit and never to allow giving up to enter into my head, was waking up one day, and there was a trial going on at work (I am a legal assistant by trade), and there was also a major blizzard going on. I knew I had to make it into the office.
You see, we weren’t sure if the courts were closed and if they weren’t, we had to be there. So, I got up, said goodbye silently to my sleeping family who had nowhere to go because everything was closed, and braved the weather. Two hours later I arrived at an office (normally a 15 minute drive) that had been closed an hour before and I was told I could go home. NOT ON YOUR LIFE. I’m not going back out in that.
That was when I realized that an Internet Home Based Business was where I needed to be. I didn’t want to be getting up at O-Dark thirty for the rest of my life trudging downtown in Lord knows what kind of weather to work for an employer who paid me what he thought I was worth, which is usually just enough to keep you there, but not enough to create any kind of wealth.
So with that in mind, I would like to welcome you to my first blog post and invite you to join with me in a journey of drawing the world into the palm of your hands by the power of the Internet.
I can tell you it won’t always be easy, it won’t always be fun, but in the long run it will be well worth the effort you put into it.

As they say in Russia, очень фантастический! That’s pronounced ochen fantasitichesdi which means very much fantastic! Absolutely.

Hi Debbie,
Info tells, stories sell…you have told a beautiful story that many, if not most, employees can relate to today.
No doubt, all your hard work — especially the frustration of learning how to harness the power of the Internet — is going to pay off.
Just as the pioneers of 140 years ago had incredible tribulation at times, so do we.
The promised land for them was wide open spaces and the opportunity to do whatever their hearts wanted.
We, too, have that same blessed promise. . .only in a different time.
Let me know what I can do to help you. . .I guarantee you, it will be my pleasure.
Yours in excellence and mastery,
Joe

It sounds like neither snow, nor rain, (nor boss!) is keeping you from confidently navigating the sometimes choppy waters of Internet marketing, entrepreneur-style! And I’m betting the shore will soon come into view. Congrats on your crossing, Debbie…Bon Voyage!

I can certainly relate – especially driving stick shift. My first experience learning stick, I literally held in my hand the life of me, my best friend, and most, importantly, her 2 little boys. We were driving back home to Houston, from Cleveland in her car (4 on the floor). I was driving, or attempting to exit a freeway and merge with traffic. The traffic – a Semi – barrelling straight down on us. I was panicking and Julie sat there, calmly saying (boy is she a great faker), “you can do it, just nice and smooth, you can do this”… and, I did (I’m writing this, aren’t I?), but only with God’s good grace. That makes me shake to this day – and that was about 25 years ago.

Very Encouraging to see another’s journey through the maze of internet overload, real or merely perceived fears and doubt and then coming to that crucial point of decision to plow through and make something great happen. Great Stuff!

Wonderful perspective Debbie! I’m sure this hit home for so many of us in this field. But the choice of not giving up isn’t an option. There are days when you say “Is this really worth it all.” Your blog crashes, something isn’t working right with a widget or plugin, most people just spam you to get in their “Hottest New Opportunity” and the list goes on…
Seeing that you have an unlimited potential of FREEDOM and Financial Security is what I think drives most of us to keep going. Owning our own business has thought Dawn and I about financial security nothing about FREEDOM. We actually feel that we bought ourselves a JOB or in other words, a Prison Term. lol The internet offers you freedom when it’s done right. Traditional businesses offers you a paycheck but that’s about it.
Thanks for sharing your insight. I really liked this post!
Committed To Your Success!
