90 Day Challenge – Day 1

Well, the day started out like any other day, but then I felt a renewed sense of energy. I realized that this “thing” that I had been working on for over two weeks now had finally come to life.
It was exciting and scary at the same time. All I could think of was “geeze, now I’m committed, there’s no turning back!” After all, over 1,700 Facebook friends and 4,000 twitter friends know about this and I don’t think I can stop now.
So, I set out to figure out what my assignment would be for yesterday. How could I top the video the day before. Surely whatever I did would be a disappointment, right.
Nope, that’s not the in the rules. The rules say you have to do at least one thing to completion every day. As Mike says, celebrate the tiny victories. What if my audience was five times larger. (I’m sure it will be by the end of the 90 days, right?)
My task that I set out to complete yesterday was to bring by blog post over to Facebook and create a new group for anyone who wanted to participate, and guess what…..
Yep, I completed it! You can view the post here:
Then, make sure to join our “Focus Group” (Hey, I like that, it just came off the top of my head
. You can join the group here.
I’m going to send a “tweet” out every day keeping everyone posted on what my progress was and what day I’m on. I’ll do some recap posts also, maybe every couple weeks, just to see where this is leading.
If you tweet your daily progress, people will be able to follow you too. Imagine how many people we can bring along when they catch the excitement!!!
My two projects for today are to start an email list for my Holiday Open House and to get a capture box on my opportunity page on my blog. (Definitely have been putting them off way too long.)
Now it’s your turn, what were your projects for the day. Comment below and let me know, then tweet it back and change the tweet to include your name. Let everyone else know what you’re doing too!
Until tomorrow, make it a productive, focused day!
Debbie.
Debbie,
GREAT job!
Mike
