About Me

Hello and Welcome!

My name is Debbie Wood. I am a mother of three amazing kids, and I own my own business.

I’d like to take some time and tell you about me, who I am, and why I love what I do.

My story is really no different from anyone else’s. Many of you will probably see yourself as you read the words in this section.

I grew up in a small suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, and I am living in the same house now that my parents built when I was two. It’s completely remodeled from the basement up, but I love the feeling I get living there. It is, and always has been, home to me

My children are my favorite subject. Adam was born in 1986, Cody in 1988 and Ashley in 1990. Adam is now a chef working at the Zanesville Country Club, Cody is still playing soccer and going into his senior year at Otterbein College just outside of Columbus, Ohio and Ashley is still at home with me, working for a law firm and going to Tri-C part time.

I graduated with a two year degree in the field of legal secretary and have always been employed with top pay and benefits in that field. Being employed has really never been a problem for me. Fortunately, I like what I do, and for the most part have always liked my job.

On the other side of the coin, for over 20 years I have been the mother of three children. Because my family has always come first in my life, I’ve always struggled with whether or not I should stay at home and take care of my family or work and sacrifice being with them full time.

With the times the way they are and the economy as it is, it’s nearly impossible to survive on one income. And, unfortunately, many folks out there nowadays don’t even have that ONE income. I was fortunate enough to be at home with my kids when they were small, but when my youngest went to kindergarten, I went back to work.

I’ve always had the same dream. It was a dream that kept me up many nights.

It was a dream where one day I would never have to wake up to an alarm clock again.

I could wake up when I was done sleeping (I bet you can relate to that)!

I also never want my kids to have to worry about money, EVER!

I know money doesn’t make the world go around, but it sure does make the trip more enjoyable.

I wanted, no I needed, to find something to be passionate about. I needed to put a vehicle in front of that passion that I had to be my own boss and stop waking up to the mechanical rooster!

As an example of what I’m talking about, my boys are soccer players. They love the game. I’m pretty sure they were born with a soccer ball between their feet!

Adam finished his soccer career as the captain of his team and they went very far in his senior year toward the championship.
Cody finished his senior year as the captain of the team and he also broke an 11 year record for our city, scoring 58 career goals. One more than the record holder.

You talk about white hot passion…. they have it.

That’s how I feel about my business.

I always knew there was a way I could work from home, earn a great income and still be with my children (even though they really don’t need me at home any more).

I just knew in my heart that it had to be out there.

I wanted my time to be my own. I didn’t want a boss, an alarm clock or anyone dictating what I needed to do and when.

I had heard so many stories of men and women that were making amazing incomes working from home and raising their children without day care and I knew that if they could do it, I could too!

It all started with a decision. I made the decision that I would be one of those people.

I believe that when you make the decision, destiny moves in and takes over.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I can’t say that I made this decision and it’s been all downhill, smooth sailing into the wind ever since. Pretty much quite the opposite. My absolute favorite quote is:

Each failure is a stepping stone to success, which in turn will become a very long and lovely walkway to the castle of your dreams, written by John DiLemme.

You see, I always knew that this thing called failure… it’s not the falling down, it’s the staying down.

And you can trust me when I say I made a lot of mistakes. I spent a lot of unnecessary money. I was ready, on more than one occasion, to pick up my PC (which has evolved into a Mac) and hoist it out the window, vowing never to set my fingers on the keyboard again!

What has and still does keep me going is one word…. Committment!

I made a commitment to myself and my family, to keep looking until I found the last paving stone to the castle of our dreams. To select something that worked for all of us, to apply the time, dedication and perseverance that I knew it would take and reap the rewards!!

My life changed forever. The WORLD became my playground.

I’ve learned through MUCH trial and error, mostly error, what to do and what not to do online. There is a specific roadmap to building your empire and I’m willing to teach that to you, along with some of the great partners and mentors I’ve met along with way.
